Discover a practice that
CHALLENGES YOU
FOCUSES YOUR MIND
BRINGS YOU JOY
I embarked on my yoga journey during high school when I attended a class at the local YMCA. Having some background in ice-skating and gymnastics, I immediately fell in love with this practice of getting into the body and out of the mind. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, I moved back to LA and my practice deepened when I started taking classes at CorePower Yoga in West LA. In 2018, I successfully completed my 200 RYT training. Early in 2019, I participated in an extension program to refine my teaching skills.
After teaching at CorePower from June 2019 to March 2020, I took a break to focus on my personal practice. Returning to teaching in May 2021, the dedicated self-practice at home enriched my ability to connect with my students' bodies, drawing from my own experiences. As I expanded into other studios and engaged in one-on-one sessions, I pursued advanced training, earning my 500 RYT certification in January 2023.
I view ourselves as perpetual students, and I am committed to continuous learning. Always seeking to enhance my teaching, I regularly attend courses and explore educational videos online, ensuring a dynamic and evolving class for my students.
Though I excel in a power vinyasa flow for all levels, I am skilled in yin and a combination of vinyasa and yin. My aim is to create challenging and spiritual oriented classes that set my students up for success in forever pushing the boundaries of their physical practice as well as their mental fortitude. I create intelligent sequencing with lots of options so that you can find the right movement for your own body at that moment. I aim to allow students to drop into the wisdom of their bodies and release the fluctuations of their mind as we flow.
